Baker Lean-To Tent
A very versatile shelter for trader and family alike. This shelter is the same style as written about in the book “Beyond The Paddle” by Garrett Conover. It has a very roomy interior, stands 7’ high in the front with a roof that slopes to 2’ high in the rear. The attached awning, which can be closed off at night and becomes the door, has an additional 12” valance that acts like sod cloth. Extra ties along the roof and end walls give you the ability to tie off poles either across or up-and-down the roof. This one featured is a custom size and has the optional attached privacy walls and extra side flaps on the awning. There are two curtains that are stitched into the side walls. Each curtain is 7' high and 7' deep. 14' of canvas covers the front of the tent when they are closed off creating a 2' overlap when closed. With this design you can make a three sides shelpter that is 17' deep and 10' wide. ~See photo at the bottom of this page showing one built to specs from the 1930 Sears Roebuck Catalog. ~

Snow Trekker Tent
This special designed tent was developed specifically for modern winter camping with stove and door placement designed to keep entrance traffic and cooking activity well away from the sleeping area. Ten inch high double-wall construction is provided around the base of the tent to bank snow against it. The stove hole has a generous outside flap that, when rolled up, keeps the heavy snow away from the opening. A tipi-style door opening is heavily reinforced and has a generous overlap designed to be braced and weighted with sticks to function more like a hatch. Pull out tabs allow the expansion of the tent into a side-wall configuration for additional interior space. This tent comes in two sizes: The “Group Size” is 12’x12’ with an 7 1/2’ center. It weighs only about 40-pounds. (Fits five people comfortably.) The “Two Person” measures 8’x10’ with an 6 1/2’ center. This size weighs only about 30-pounds.

Canoe Country Tent
Resurrected from more than 20 years ago, This lightweight versatile pyramid tent design with several modifications added to afford a more spacious interior. Side pull tabs allow this tent to be easily set up in very rugged terrain. This surprisingly roomy tent affords deluxe accommodations for the avid modern canoeist. The oval stepover door can be fitted with mosquito netting if desired for the modern camping needs. Dimensions are 8’x8’ with 7’ center height or a 9'x9'with 8' center height. You can enjoy a cross breeze by adding an optional screened window with a flap on the outside for when not in use. As with all of our tents, these are made with the same 10 oz. CPAI-84 Fire Rated Sunforger Boatshrunk canvas.
